1. Establishing Shot – Exterior – Examples – Classroom, Middle School Entrance.
2. Master Shot – where inside the Establishing shot are the actors
3. Over the Shoulders – If there is a conversation going on…verbal or non verbal.
4. Close Ups
5. Extreme Close Ups – Give a lot more detail of the shot.
Activity: The class will be broken up into 6 groups of 3 and 1 group of four. The members will decide who will be the actors and who will be the director and camera operator. The students will be given 15 minutes to shoot a 2-minute video that includes of the 5 types of shots. There will be no talking in this video. The students will need to convey their thoughts my using hand gestures or facial expressions.

I helped with recording the scene, and I came up with some ideas for what to do.
